Engineered for Duty

A patrol platform built for demanding missions
and demanding budgets.

The UP.FIT Patrol Cybertruck is the flagship of the next-generation fleet — proven at scale by the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department and deployed by agencies nationwide. A stainless steel exoskeleton instead of painted sheet metal. Adaptive air suspension instead of a lifted frame. Onboard power instead of an idling engine. Built by UP.FIT into a complete, duty-ready patrol vehicle with the full Tesla warranty intact.

Command Presence

Presence that de-escalates before you open the door.

An ultra-hard stainless steel exoskeleton that shrugs off impacts painted sheet metal can't, shatter-resistant armor glass, and a heavy-duty UP.FIT push bar engineered for the platform. The Cybertruck doesn't look like anything else on the road — and on scene, that matters.

  • Ultra-hard stainless steel exoskeleton — no paint to scratch, no panels to rust
  • Shatter-resistant armor glass
  • Heavy-duty push bar with integrated warning lighting
  • 4-wheel steer-by-wire — more agile than any legacy gasoline patrol vehicle, in a full-size footprint
Prisoner Transport & K-9

Built for the most dangerous thirty seconds of transport.

Securing a combative transportee is one of the most injury-prone moments of the job. Our custom-engineered center-pull retractable seatbelts are integrated into the partition and operate one-handed from the door opening — the officer belts the transportee in seconds without leaning across them, without fishing for a buckle, and without taking eyes off their hands.

  • Center-pull retractable seatbelts — one-handed operation from outside the compartment
  • No reaching across the transportee during loading or unloading
  • Molded, seamless transport seat that cleans out in minutes
  • Single or dual cage configurations; K-9 enclosures available — with precise cabin climate, no idling
  • Supervisor builds skip the partition entirely
Any Terrain

The patrol area doesn't end where the pavement does.

Adaptive air suspension raises the Cybertruck to roughly 17 inches of ground clearance — then drops it back down for highway stability. Dual-motor AWD with instant torque, all-terrain rubber, and UP.FIT armor for the hits the trail hands out. Sand, rock, riverbed, open desert: if the call goes there, so does the truck.

  • Adaptive air suspension — up to ~17" of ground clearance on demand
  • Dual-motor AWD with instant, precisely metered torque off-road
  • UP.FIT rock sliders and heavy-duty steel protection replacing OEM plastic
  • All-terrain pursuit-capable tires on UP.FIT high-strength forged aluminum police wheels
Steer-by-Wire + 4-Wheel Steering

A full-size truck that turns like a compact car.

Steer-by-wire eliminates the mechanical column: steering ratio adapts continuously, so parking-lot maneuvers take a fraction of a turn while highway speeds stay rock-stable. Add rear-wheel steering and this full-size truck achieves a tight turning circle for its footprint.

  • Steer-by-wire with speed-adaptive ratio — precise at 5 mph and at 100 mph
  • Rear-wheel steering for a tight turning circle relative to its footprint
  • Instant electric torque — no downshift, no spool-up, no hesitation
  • Low center of gravity from the structural battery pack

The patrol vehicle that gets better after deployment.

Every UP.FIT Patrol Cybertruck is a rolling AI platform: 360-degree camera coverage, onboard neural-net compute, and Tesla Full Self-Driving (Supervised)§ capability. On shift today, that means active collision avoidance, supervised driver assistance that cuts fatigue on long patrols, and continuous multi-camera vision — situational awareness no legacy truck can match.

And it compounds. Tesla ships new capability over the air, so the autonomy stack your fleet carries keeps advancing for years after delivery — no retrofit, no repurchase. Today's deployment is your platform for the autonomous era of law enforcement.

Starlink Connectivity

Connected where cell networks aren't.

UP.FIT integrates a low-profile Starlink flat-panel antenna into the bed rack — satellite broadband that keeps MDTs, cameras, and communications online in canyon country, disaster zones, and dead spots, or when local networks are congested at a major incident.

  • Flat high-performance Starlink antenna, integrated into the UP.FIT bed rack
  • Broadband data far beyond cellular coverage
  • Resilient comms when towers are down or overloaded
  • Turns any parking spot into a connected command post
Onboard Power

Scene power and mobile command support, built in.

The Cybertruck exports up to 11.5 kW from its high-voltage battery — 120V and 240V outlets in the bed and cabin. Scene lighting, radios, drone batteries, power tools, a full mobile command post: powered for hours, silently, with no idling engine and no generator to haul, fuel, or shout over.

  • Up to 11.5 kW of exportable power; 120V/240V outlets in bed and cabin
  • Silent scene power — no generator noise stepping on communications
  • Sustains a mobile command post through extended incidents and special events
  • Runs emergency equipment all shift from the battery — zero idle fuel burn
Fortified by UP.FIT

Steel where the factory put plastic.

For agencies that run hard duty cycles, our Fortified package replaces OEM plastic components with engineered steel: bumpers, brush guards, sliders, and underbody protection designed, tested, and manufactured for the Cybertruck platform.

  • Heavy-duty steel bumpers with integrated warning lighting
  • Brush guards and underbody armor for off-road response
  • Track-tested thermally upgraded brakes available, engineered for the platform
UP.FIT Forged

Forged aluminum police wheels, truck-rated.

High-strength UP.FIT Forged aluminum wheels wrapped in all-terrain pursuit-capable rubber — engineered for the Cybertruck's weight, torque, and duty cycle, from curb strikes downtown to washboard roads at the county line.

  • Forged aluminum construction — stronger than cast OEM wheels
  • All-terrain tire fitment sized for duty load
  • The same wheels we deploy on UP.FIT fleets nationwide
Officer Safety

Safety engineered into a stainless-steel platform.

Cybertruck combines an ultra-hard stainless-steel exoskeleton, Tesla Armor Glass, active safety systems, and the low center of gravity of a floor-mounted battery pack. Our upfit work never touches airbag systems, structural elements, or active safety hardware.

Equipment Storage

A lockable vault, not a trunk.

Sixty-seven cubic feet of secured bed storage under a powered tonneau — plus a frunk, an under-bed compartment, and cabin storage engineered around the partition.

1

Vault bed — 67 cu ft

6' x 4' bed sealed under a powered, locking tonneau cover. Rifle-rated secure storage at scale.

2

Under-bed compartment

Weather-sealed sub-trunk beneath the bed floor for controlled, out-of-sight storage.

3

Front trunk (frunk)

Sealed front storage for medical gear and equipment that needs to stay accessible.

4

Cabin & partition storage

Lowered console, MDT mount, and behind-driver storage configured around your build.

5

Bed power + rack

120V/240V outlets and the UP.FIT rack system for Starlink, drones, and mission equipment.

Total Cost of Ownership

Priced like a truck. Operates like a bargain.

Shared between two or more officers, a Standard AWD Patrol Cybertruck reaches cost parity with a Ford Explorer at the vast majority of U.S. agencies — and every additional hour on the road is additional savings. Cost per mile in a gas pickup runs 5x–7x higher than an UP.FIT Cybertruck once maintenance is included. Pair it with a government lease and the savings carry the payments.

Patrol Cybertruck — Questions we hear most

Answered in plain language by the team that builds your vehicles.

Why deploy a Cybertruck instead of another gas pickup or SUV?
Because the economics and the capability both win. Cost per mile in a gas pickup is 5x–7x higher than an UP.FIT Cybertruck once maintenance is included, and the 8-year / 150,000-mile battery and drive-unit warranty supports long-horizon fleet planning. On top of that: onboard power export, air suspension, steer-by-wire agility, and a stainless exoskeleton no painted truck can match.
Is it really price-competitive with a Ford Explorer?
In shared-use deployment, yes. When the vehicle is shared between two or more officers (~80+ hours of duty per week) and paired with a government lease, the Standard AWD Patrol Cybertruck reaches cost parity with a Ford Explorer at the vast majority of U.S. agencies — and every additional hour on the road is additional savings.
What about K-9 units?
The Cybertruck is our recommended K-9 platform. K-9 vehicles in gas fleets rack up enormous idle hours keeping the dog safe; the Cybertruck holds precise cabin climate from the battery with no idling, no exhaust exposure, and no engine-hour accumulation — often making K-9 the highest-savings replacement in your fleet.
Is the range enough for our patrol shift?
Yes — with 325 miles of EPA-rated range, a full charge covers a full day of patrol end-to-end with margin to spare, and the battery powers all emergency equipment with no idling. Running the vehicle 24/7 across shared shifts? A short Supercharger or Level 3 top-off per shift covers consumption for most duty cycles, and we model the energy math for your patrol area before you order.
What charging infrastructure do we need?
For most departments: a bank of Level 2 chargers — cheaper to install, faster to deploy, and well-matched to overnight or shift-change charging. We design and build both Level 2 and Level 3, charging-as-a-service is available with zero up-front cost, and a nearby Supercharger can carry a pilot program while station infrastructure is built.
Does upfitting void the Tesla warranty?
No. Our components are electrically isolated from Tesla's systems, and we've validated that UP.FIT vehicles maintain Tesla's full vehicle warranty — including the Cybertruck's 8-year / 150,000-mile battery and drive unit coverage.
How long from order to delivery?
Typically about 90 days from receiving payment and your radio/MDT equipment — often less. Demo vehicles already in stock can deliver in roughly 4 weeks. We'll give you a realistic window before you commit — not a marketing number.

Deploy the next generation.

Pilot two vehicles. Validate the savings on your own duty cycles, in your own patrol area. That's how nearly every UP.FIT deployment has begun — including a major law-enforcement Cybertruck deployment.
